Kinja'd!!!

My family had a 2009 Forester, in a sage green color. We got it in late 2008. I loved it dearly. The lease was up in 2011, so we got another one... this time in red.

Kinja'd!!!

Today, I returned it for its lease was over. No replacement for it. :(

Some trip a year ago when I played with some dirt and water...

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

And that time in February when it was snowing 2 feet in a span of 24 hours, but somehow my class wasn't cancelled...

Kinja'd!!!

That was a fun day, digging out people in their crossovers, sedans, and coupes.

2 feet in 24 hours. Upstate NY laughs in your face.
WE got nearly 10' in about 6 days.

Yeah, yeah I understand that. But upstate is way better prepared for snow storms than Long Island ever will be. It's essentially this every time it snows here or in NYC.

I know. As someone who has to deal with winter I laugh that those that complain about a bit of snow. AS our average snow fall is nearly 120+' a winter. Last year was ~130ish.

I don't mind snow at all, but I hate the whole media coverage thing and how people seem to forget how to be normal when it snows.

Literally though. The difference in response between here in Albany and Orange county where I came from is staggering.

I know. It annoys me when the news says an inch of snow in the south is a big deal. IT's AN INCH, it's not gonna kill you...

So basically the same as northern Minnesota. Or lowest is about -10 degrees because we're on the side of Lake Ontario that gets to stay a bit warmer. Average is about 24F though.
